Central Coastal -

Central Maine -
meets at the Palmyra town hall on the first Thursday of the month, 8 months of the year (not Nov, June, July, Jan. The Oct. meeting is a picnic held at a different location). Always a raffle, sometimes a pot luck supper. Meeting starts at 7, pot luck starts at 6 (if there is one).

meets at the East Branch SnoRovers Clubhouse in Medway, last Sunday of every month at 6 PM. We have a 50/50 raffle and a supper.
Kennebec Valley -
meets every 2nd Sunday of each month at either Bill Thompson's or Gary Rogers'.
Northern Coastal -
meets monthly, 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00PM at the Goose River Grocery, Swan Lake Ave, Belfast. Call Toby Montgomery, 223-5934 for info. They'd welcome new members.
Southern Aroostook -
meets monthly, location moves around between 3 different towns (Island Falls, Springfield areas)
York County -
meets on the second Sunday of each month, 7PM, at the North Berwick Rod & Gun Club
Union River -
meets in Ellsworth at the Ellsworth City Hall, 7 PM, second Friday of every other month. To join the chapter, call Paul Favolise.
Carrabasset Valley Trappers Club -
This club is not a chapter, but all of it's members are MTA members, most of them Lifetime. They meet on the 1st Sunday of each month at 6:00PM at Jerry's Trapping Supplies in North Anson. At each meeting there is a raffle, a buffet and usually a guest speaker and a demo.

We had election of officers last month and a good meeting.

We held a very successful trappers ed course in April with 24 graduates. We are conducting a fundraising raffle for the chapter to help pay scholarships etc. Prizes are: new kayak,custom made knife by Barry Wheaton, tanned coyote pelt, tanned beaver pelt, $100 cash. $1 per ticket or 6 for $5.
We also joined USSA as a chapter.
We have 17 paid members. Our next meeting is May 12th, 6:00pm for pot luck supper and meeting to follow. Princeton Rod and gun club.
