Cushing – Property of Edward Lee located at 368 Pleasant Point Road – two houses north of the Post office – 354-0980 – stream crosses road…several dams
Belgrade - Leo Barnett, property off Location Road Mr. Barnett lives at 4 Mills Road in Belgrade 458-2458
Turner – Property of Robert Plummer located Pleasant Pond – 225-3238 – McLaughlin Road, which is off of the Pleasant Pond Road which is off of Parrish Road / Rt. 117
Pittston – Town of Pittston has several beaver road problems, contact Larry Gould at 446-9800
Problems are located on : North Beech Hill Road and Pinkham Road…contact Mr. Gould who is the road commissioner for more details.
Belgrade – Property of Robert Rowe located at 25 Knowles Road and the intersection of Rt. 135 – large flowage…big logan on the south side of the Knowles, beaver house located around the bend , close but cant be seen from road. please get after them here…also Abbott Ladd, 572 Route 135 in Belgrade (495-3824).
Hartford – Property of Noel Mount and Bryant Farm – located off of Farrand Hill Road, which is off of Rt. 108, which is located off of Rt. 4 – 592-8786
Turner - The town of Turner has had issues this year along their roadways. Here are some locations:
Route 219 by Boofy Quimby and the side road near that location
Little Wilson Pond and road – All culverts leading to and from pond
Wood St
Snell Hill Rd
Fish St
Cobb Rd on both ends – behind houses, can see from the road
Pleasant Pond and outlet
Chelsea – Searle Mills Roads- .4 miles down from the Windsor road –
Hallowell - Town of Hallowell, Reservoir Road, which is off Town Farm Road in Hallowell
Burnham – Oakwood Lane, off the Horseback Road, has multiple culverts that need addressing
Burnham – Where the Belfast Moosehead Lake Railroad crosses the Horseback Road..Follow tracks west for approximately quarter mile, to Beaver plugging culverts under tracks.
Turner – Property of Cynthia Duga – property located at 36 back cover drive in Turner. 225-2352.
At least 5 beaver known to be in the area plugging culverts under back cover drive.
Augusta – Property of Craig Shostak 441-4585 – Sightly Ridge Road – which is located directly across from the Legion Home on Rt. 17. It appears this problem is associated with Riggs Brook.
Livermore – Property of Charlie Barker – 524-5771 - Pine Ridge Loop Road, which is off of Rt. 106, just south of Rt. 133. Beaver plugging culverts.
New Sharon – Property of Robert Adams located off of the Kimball Pond Road – Snowmobile bridge being impacted – 778-4015
Litchfield – Property of Bruce Doyle – located at 31 Doyle Street – 312-3698 – outlet of Buker Pond. Please contact Mr. Doyle for access.
Smithfield – Eastwood Lane – call Mel at 362-5340 to gain access…beaver plugging culvert on road association road
Augusta – Mallard Lane , whlich is off of Middle Road, which is off of the Old Belgrade road call Don at 485-1710. Small private pond, one beaver house, very easy access..
Augusta – 862 West River Road – Property of Francis Ackerman – 622-4347
Sidney – Property of John De Witt - 1339 Pond Road, Sidney 547-4977 - 300 yard before you hit the Fire Station as you travel south on the Pond Road
Jefferson – Davis Stream – North of Damariscotta Lake - #4 Riverhill Road – Property of Margaret Bond, appropriate contact number Kim Robertson at 401-439-6352 – many beaver working Davis Stream and this property is adjacent to the Fire Station
Peter Johnson, 16 Henry’s Way, which is the road across from the new hospital entrance on Old Belgrade Road. He and Jim Albert own the property near the stream and want the beaver out. 215-9510
Whitefield – Property of Ann Brown at 549-3373 – located on Gorman Lane, which is off of Rt 126, where the big power lines cross Rt. 126. Beaver are daming the eastern branch of the Eastern River at this location.
Friendship – Property of Nancy Radcliff, flooded woodlot off of Rt. 97. Call her for more specific directions….354-6281
